If you like reading and using a newspaper — including comics and sales flyers — you will HATE this app. Plus, it’s virtually impossible to find specific articles that are cross promoted on their social media feeds. Assign an investigative reporter to this sad story! And have the marketing department actually follow-up on what your subscribers say online. I’m ready to cancel my subscription based on the continuing horrible electronic experience. That said, I LOVE my Washington Post app, if you want a benchmark!

I have read the Atlanta paper for decades both in print and on my iPad - fortunately my iPad app is different from this one. This app is designed to present ads. Period! I guess the developers/ management want you to view it in order to get advertising dollars. In no way does it even come close to news. (I can truthfully say, I have never seen a worse app! I would classify this whole operation as “fake news” app and I’ll stick with my paper and old iPad edition.

Conceptually, picking your interests and having those included in what you see is a good idea. But the execution is a MAJOR FAIL. As a subscriber, I expect far better than this. The only way to fix this is to start over with developers who have a clue what they're doing. In the meantime, bring back the old app.

Any app that isn’t updated for the IPhone X 6 months after its release deserves one star.

What's the point of having an app that sends alerts and when you tap on them it takes you to the website?? It needs a better UI and needs to load faster. Update 5/8/18 Last update causes app to crash when trying to send feedback and notifications completely stopped working.

This app is pretty good, except; The opinion section is not available and even though I chose to NOT see any sports in my news feed, on certain days half of the stories are sports.

11 months after the iPhone X was announced and the app is still not compatible with the iPhone X screen.
