GAME RULES:
You control the flying device, which moves above the playing field. Your goal is to fill in the majority of the field. To achieve it, you have to fly above a clear area, and to cut off parts without the balls. (At the same time the balls should not cross your trajectory!) Avoid contacts with the mines, which move on the filled areas. Playing time for each level is limited. Collect the bonuses to gain life, to increase score and time, to slow down all balls and mines.
Great game just like the original, even the soundtrack is the same! Only issue is the controls. It’s manageable as-is, but could’ve been better with arrows in the bottom corner or something along those lines.
Outstanding port of the old PC version of this game. Controls are easy and responsive. Graphics are simple and the 3D effect works out really well. If you enjoyed play QIX in the 80s then you will enjoy this modern take on the classic game.
The Windows version was one of the highlights of my childhood, and playing it on an iPhone now is nostalgic and just as fun, if not more.
Would like to see more from this developer, like axysnake or the retro Warcraft 1.
I simply love that this has been ported to iOS! I remember playing this on PC back around 2004-2005. Oh the nostalgia... And only for $1.99! I just had to get it! I would suggest this to anyone that has played this before. Or really to anyone that hasn't, too. It's pretty fun. Compared to the PC version, it's almost exactly the same. Other than the layout and controls of course. The controls are a bit different if you're not used to it, but if you practice, you can get the hang of it. I definitely got overly excited about this. I can't speak for you...
Super addictive PC game with appealingly low-rez visuals that beckon back to simpler times for 3D. So glad it got a mobile port. Power ups and different enemy types keep it interesting. Sound design is catchy and for some reason makes me think of Myst-era PC games. Definitely under-appreciated, used to play all the time as a kid.
