I love the thirty two freaking bits

Obis11

Basically I bought Airvox only because of the upgrade to 32 bit, in my opinion we should see more of this from developers in the near future... Cd quality is ok for rough ideas but not studio quality. So anyway I love seeing high quality sound on mobile synth apps and I will buy others that are updated to 24 or 32 bit. As far as Airvox, it's a bit awkward using, but it's not a bad thing to challenge my musical comfort zones. Airvox certainly challenges the way I am comfortable playing. But I feel like Airvox is missing an lfo or two. I do enjoy the existing controls but I would just feel better if I had another layer of oscillation that could be controlled via left hand. It's certainly a fun app, but not highly useful to me. I can't wait to see 32 bit make its way over to minisynth pro or shredder or megasynth. On principle I have to give this app five stars, 32 bit plus extremely different way of interacting with sound. Win.

Takes some patience

Moment65

Even though I'm mainly interested in guitars I'm always looking for unusual instruments and sounds that I can add to the mix to make songs unique. I had my doubts about this app, based mainly on the bad reviews, but the people who knock this app probably lacked the patience to stick with it long enough. There are a lot of presets in the app that can make it sound completely different. Those presets can be saved and tweaked. I can make this app sound like almost anything. The recommended way to play is with the hands, which of course works, but I can play it well by standing over it and playing it with my face. With some of the presets I can actually make good music by playing the air with my face. The app can also be played with other objects that give different to sound. Some objects sound most interesting with particular presets. In general if you mess with this app for five minutes then you'll just waste your time. If you like to explore and you have some spare time to spend then you can get some great sounds from this app.

Cool.. Fun.. App

teknow

App is very creative and fun. Has lots of cool sounds to choose from other than the theremin sound which makes it much more fun to play with. The controls take a little while to get use to but once you do it seems to work pretty good. The graphic interface could use a make over but it doesn't effect the functionality which is pretty good. If you want to wow your friends and have something close to a theremin this is it!

Please update

Synspeak

Please, could you make it so camera is oriented to right, or at least allow text to rotate 180 so it can be used in Alesis iDock and Behringer istudio. Would be much better for live performance.

Not worth the $3.00

I bought this app based on a few good reviews. I deleted it a few minutes after trying it out.

Waste of money

Guy and Jackie

On iPhone 5s and iOS 8, it has never gotten beyond the "Preparing" stage in numerous tries. Sad waste of money for me. I thought it would at least start up so I could at least see what kind of sounds it could produce. More fool me, I guess.

Do not buy

Bigdaddy87

Do not buy this if you have iOS 8, as it does not work. It worked before I updated but no longer. By the looks of the infrequency of updates I am willing to bet that it won't be updated. Beware.

Not working

Bmdog

I see some of not t the best reviews if the makers are reading this CHANGE IT TO BE COMPATABLE WITH IOS8!!!! It seems REALY cool but MAKE IT WORK FOR IOS8.(whisper practical voice) you'll probably get more buyers (duh face/tone) also STAY WITH YOUR APP YOU MADE A COMMITMENT TO IT NOW STICK WITH IT!!!

Wasted My Money on this one: App crashes repeatedly when trying to open it (running iOS 8.1.2 on iPad Air 2).
