Does not work as screen mirroring on iPad

AIRTAME on Laptops work great. However, AIRTAME on iPad does not screen mirror unless you change WiFi to AIRTAME IP address which takes away internet access.
No streaming video

Toward video streaming capability. Video is choppy. I put my PC 8 feet away and used my network or the dongle's network and still poor choppy video quality. I have high hopes is that this improves quickly.

Airtame is a joke. Terrible app, no stream video and mirror on Mac has many problems and lags. Impossible to view a video. Seriously, I'm very disappointed with this product. One year late and received a dongle with this problems. No spent your money with Airtame.
Really needs more

The photo streaming is built into almost all streamers now so that's nothing. The presentation viewing is cool. This really needs video streaming and/or mirroring. Apple probably won't allow mirroring but I know video streaming works for many others including chromecast. Currently my chromecast does about 5 times more than this at a cost of 1/3 of an Airtame.

Showing photos and presentations is one thing, but I really expected video to be supported and I'm sorely disappointed. Might as well drag around an AppleTV (big though it is).

As an IndieGogo contributor, I had to wait years to get this dongle in hand. Throughout the wait was holding onto the thought that with this I would have so much greater function to stream anything from my device to my TV. This was how it was presented and was so stated in the developers responses as to why they were to be better than ChromeCast. Now, finally, have it in hand --- and in TV --- and all I can do is look at my pictures on TV!?! So ... Seems like we've been sold a large digital picture frame, which renders our TV useless for its intended purpose. Moving pictures. Really --- don't waste your money on this dongle.

As a supporter we had to wait for a very long time to get this Airtame in hand. After all the patience, which is required and understood, when people develop new capabilities, I was counting on a few bugs but that the device overall did what the developer had promised. Once I had it in hand and plugged in, I realized that I could not have been further off the mark. Mine does not even seem to have the correct password programmed, as, in spite of many trys, I have not been able to connect. Looking at the other reviews, I regret having spent time and money on yet another one of these projects that are all big talk and show with nothing behind it. I realize that developing HW and SW is difficult, but then only promise what you can deliver. It seems there is a huge difference in what you get in the end from a Kickstarter project vs Indiegogo. It sure looks like that the ones who can't make it on Kickstarter end up trying their luck on Indiegogo. Last Indiegogo funding I've done. Completely and utterly useless. Get an Apple TV instead!

The app is not universal and appears to have taken all of about 10 minutes to make. It says it works with iOS devices but is basically a stripped down photo viewer. At least with the chrome cast you can stream videos to a display. The device works well with laptops just not with Apple.
