Would you like to see the fetal heart tracing ("strip") from virtually anywhere? Also part of the AirStrip ONE enterprise healthcare mobility solution, AirStrip OB allows you, the Obstetrician, to securely log on to a hospital’s Labor and Delivery unit and see virtual real-time waveform data as well as other patient information on your iPhone!

Anywhere you have a cell phone or Wi-Fi connection, you can view the patient census as well as other pertinent patient data such as nursing notes, vital signs, labor status, physical exam and maternal/fetal waveform data. You can also scroll through historical data and rotate to landscape to review even more of the fetal heart tracing.

While not intended to remove care from the bedside, AirStrip OB is a useful tool for Obstetricians whose daily demands may necessitate their periodic absence from the Labor and Delivery environment.

Very nice!

Perfect app for a busy OB. Nice job folks! This will be checked by me before I start each day on L&D. Will be perfect for those "questionable" strips.

Well Worth the Wait

I have been using Airstrip OB on a Windows Mobile Smartphone since it came out. I like (and need) it so much that I carry 2 phones, my iPhone for everything and a Samsung i760 solely for using Airstrip OB. The Phone version surpasses the Windows version by a mile. There is a more organized interface, the graphics are much clearer, and the utility is increased. In my opinion, this is an absolute must for obstetricians. If you can spend your day in labor in delivery, you may not need this program, but if you are like the rest of us, you cannot defend not having the ability to monitor fetal strips anywhere, anytime. The potential for academics is obvious. Thank you Airstrip for bringing your ingenuity to the iPhone.

What a step up
Ob Doc

I have been using Airstrip on Windows mobile for 2 years or so now and there is no comparison to the iPhone version. Visually it is a vast improvement and the touch screen scrolling is great! Thank you AirStrip!

AirStrip OB is Terrific!

What an amazing application!! The ability to check a laboring patient's vitals, cervical exam status, nurses' notes is very helpful. But the greatest aid of all is that I can check the strip in real time when a nurse calls and reports concerns. Instead of having to go to Labor and Delivery, I now just open up AirStrip OB on my iphone, review the strip, and discuss the situation with the nurse. This often allows me to stay in my office, or just go back to sleep!! Medicolegally, I expect that this ability will not only benefit the obstetrician, but the hospital as well. Thanks AirStrip!!

Fabulous!

I've been an Airstrip user since it started on the Windows devices and this is a marked improvement... The speed at which the screens upload, going seamlessly between data and tracing is wonderful.graphics are great. I love this app and have made it part of my everyday care of my laboring patients-I wouldn't want to be without it.

Great application for Ob/Gyn
WHS Dallas Ob/Gyn

I have been very excited with Airstrip Ob on my phone and being able to access it at any time.  As an Ob/Gyn we are by nature multi-taskers, seeing patients in the office, while delivering patients and surgeries all likely in the same day.  Previously while performing on of my other duties such as seeing patients in the office i would have relied on the nurse to contact me if the there were any issues with a strip or intermittently, between tasks, check on my office computer. However the continuous accessability has enabled me to more times than not notice any issues on a strip before the nurse even has a chance to page me.  This easy accessabilty has made my practice more efficient, often times with the feature of checking the latest exam i  can be on L&D ready to deliver a patient before the nurse has had the opportunity to notify me of their latest exam.

Just downloaded the demo! I live this app. Can't wait for our physicians to begin using this. Cameron- Randy showed me this. He knew I would love it. Feel free to keep me in the loop of any additional new products! Aloha from Hawaii!

If you dont have this app and you are an OB -you are missing out

This is clearly the finest application for the iphone for a obstetrician. As a perinatologist, I am often called about FHR tracings all over town in multiple hospitals. Airstrip allows me to respond promptly. I have used this application on windows mobile for a couple years. The iphone version raises the bar with the speed of the rendering of the tracing, the clarity, and the additional information it provides. The iphone screen allows a beautifully rendered strip. The ability to see nursing notes ensures some passing on of information to the physician while also promoting accurate documentation of information. Nurses within the hospital are aware that you can check what is being done within the hospital at anytime - increasing pitocin, checking cervical dilation, adequately displaying a FHR on a patient with a previously supicious strip, checking BPs on the patient with preeclampsia, etc. This is an app that you cannot be without and are at a disadvantage in patient care without its use. If you have it at your hospital- get it. If you dont, you should consider approaching your hospital as this really promotes patient safety.

WOW TOTALLY AMAZING!!!

Hallelujah! This is like a dream come true! The ability for me to monitor my patients remotely is an absolute God Send! I can see the fetal strip (I would say in almost more detail than in L&D) with the ability to use finger swipe gestures to move the strip back & forth. Being able to see a list of cervical exams and times and easily review vitals is so great -- I can't even get that easily when I am on the unit in the hospital! The patient list even shows me which patients are mine and who the nurse is. This is just like being in L&D and then some. Thanks AirStrip!!!!
