This App Blows

Brianlng87

Not functional, I understand what the internet is. Zooming in and out does nothing to troubleshoot

Frustrating and slow.

This app adds a lot of angst to my life. We have a tall brick house which requires a network of wifi extensions. Airport utility rarely recognizes the Apple devices set up in our network. We recently switch our ISP, requiring everything to be set up on a new wifi network, airport utility did not make this switch easy. Please bring back simple products that work.

Not good

Update for iOS 10 for goodness sake

--**

August 2017 update: still not working correctly ? It's your own app, apple! Well 10....and this app don't mix: no longer able to save base station password(s)? April 2017: had to call apple support and spend 30 minutes on the phone attempting to get this app to work ??

Airport Utility

Iluvshihtzu

Airport Base Station cannot be found. Since macOS Sierra updated to 10.12.6, Airport Utility launches & shows Internet status only. It does not show AirPort Extreme Base Station or Airport Express It's frustrating when I can't control my Base Station because Airport Utility, a very simple app cannot find it. Internet & wifi are working on SOME devices through Guest Network. My main network that makes everything in the house operate is gone. It's like it never existed. Apple needs to fix this nasty bug!!!

WIRELESS CLIENTS

BigThelonious

WIRELESS CLIENTS NEED TO BE CUSTOMIZABLE. I DON'T CARE ABOUT A BUNCH OF STUPID NUMBERS AND LETTERS. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY A DEVICE AND THEN RENAME IT SO I KNOW WHAT IT IS.

This app is barely functional

KoalaNutBread

Some times not even that much. Use the desktop application whenever you can.

No scan option on ipad

daraeman

The iphone has a wifi scan option, but they seem to have dropped that for the ipad. As the ONLY allowed wifi scanning app, it make this pretty much useless
