Nasty app hijacks bluetooth

So that my music won't play in the car. The selection of podcasts and music is sparse and unimpressive.

Horrible

Honestly I only downloaded this because apparently the radio in my car needed an update. After that. This app constantly needs to community with the radio. And it keeps flashing on my phone literally every 15 seconds. This is honestly just stupid

Garbage

Can't sign up or login via Facebook or Google. Worthless

Utter garbage. Constant pop over

gavininny

Like most people here I only downloaded it to update my car radio/ent system. Tried to keep it for a while in the hope that is had some value added role. Nope. Just a garbage app that has no value in a modern entertainment system dominated by Car Play (or AndroidAuto). Would of been happy to leave installed except it constantly popped over whatever was on my phone screen. Annoying any time, insane making when you are using the phone for route guidance as a second CarPlay screen in IOS 13 (Waze).

Bug introduced in latest version

Vechog

This app has been working great for me for many years but it seems a bug got introduced in the latest version. Now radio skips to next program after few seconds and when I try to go back, it starts from time 0!! Please fix ASAP!!

Works but a major P.I.T.A.

Pegleggirl369

It did what I needed it for: check for and install the latest software but there doesn’t seem to be any way to shut it off until needed. I downloaded it in order to update the software in my 2018 Outback and deleted it a week later. Every 1 to 5 minutes it would take over the display in order to inform me - AGAIN - that my software is up to date, it wanted to connect - AGAIN - or was running instead of the app I actually wanted running AGAIN. In software circles an app that allows you to control its priority is referred to as a “nice” app. This is not a “nice” app. What an embarrassment.

Only useful to update your stereo

SDMichael

It updated my Harmon Kardon car stereo in my Subaru just fine. But leaving the app on my phone meant that it started playing music from some Amazon Music playlist that I didn’t want; this happened every time I plugged the iPhone into the USB. The app stops CarPlay from working properly as it starts playing this other playlist. Every time I closed the app by swiping up, it automatically reopened as long as the iPhone was plugged into the car. There is a settings option called “Vehicle Settings” which is supposed to offer options when connected to a Subaru, but it does nothing. The best use of this app is to download it once a year to update your stereo software, then delete it immediately after.

No longer works with Slacker Radio!!

dppeak

Title says it all. None of the Slacker Radio stations work and you can not connect your Slacker Radio account.

Terrible

dnkil23

As others have said, this is a terrible app. It comes on automatically whenever you start Car Play (iPhone 8 and X) and you can’t shut it off. It takes over whatever you have playing; e.g., radio, Waze etc. I finally figured out that is you quickly turn off the screen it won’t dominate the other apps. This thing is garbage.
