Mad I payed a dollar for this app. Combines categories and doesn't tell you to remember things like stables, unused space, fields, pastures are just called "space" for example. Not worth the dollar unless it gets updated.
Works as advertised but really needs a tutorial. The free agricalc that is no longer on the App Store was much more user friendly.
The actual scoring on the Agricola game is very different. It's not a simple addition of the different pieces. Each piece is worth different points based on how may you have of that particular resource. For example, three cattle is 3 points and three sheep is 1 point so you should get 4 points total. This app simply adds the number of animals and gives you 6 points. Waste of 99c. Disappointed.
This little app is hardly necessary, but it's very useful. Ending a game of Agricola always means that someone has to break out a pen and paper. People still do that, but now I have the final scores well before anyone else. And they're saved. And I know my average points per game. Do I NEED any of these things? No. But I like them.
Doesn't calculate points for you - how many points do you get for 5 sheep? What about 4 fields? You have to look them up and do the conversion yourself. Also, it groups all animals into one category, meaning you have to remember and add up the values yourself. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this app - just use pencil and paper instead.
This app makes no sense. I am an expert Agricola player. Waste of money. They use terminology that lumps too many things together and you still need to figure things out yourself.
