Ads galore. Otherwise great.

The ads are difficult to stomach. It ruins the flow of the game. There doesn’t seem to be much control for the ads content. Sometimes you can’t turn the advertisement’s sound off.

I was enjoying this game quite a bit. Ads are annoying and overly intrusive though so I only played in spurts. Going to delete now though because I started paying attention to what ads they were actually running. Turns out it’s almost exclusively Prager U. I’d rather enjoy a unique take on solitaire without having politics shoved down my throat. Not sure if it’s the companies agenda or if they just literally do now care who gives them money, but either way I want solitaire to be a relaxing experience, not a source of constant political propaganda.

Mute switch there for a reason - Updated
KingOfIllinois

Fun game, but it doesn’t respect the mute switch. It’s there for a reason and if I have it set to mute it’s because I don’t want any sound! Update: We’ll, they seem to have fixed the mute switch issue so kudos for that. However, when I play this game my phone basically turns into a space heater and the battery level drops like a rock. Even after closing out of the app it still appears to be doing something in the background because the battery continues to drain excessively. It’s a problem. I guess I’ll stop playing for a while and see if they come out with a fix.

This game drains my battery extremely fast. If left running, it will completely drain the phone. I fell asleep playing with my phone plugged in and woke up to a piping hot phone! I’m lucky it didn’t overheat and kill my phone. I do not recommend this game for this reason.

Fun game but bad for my phone
Baldguy38

Like the new spin on solitaire and love to play but since the last update every time I play for more than a few minutes it turns my phone into an oven and kills my battery. I hope the developers are working on this issue. I can’t risk damaging my phone for solitaire. Please fix this problem!

Could be a 4/5 but...
Stubear

...for a couple things. First, I don’t mind paying for an ad free experience but $4.99 for a solitaire game (with one variation only at that) is a tad steep. Throw in a few different variations. Make the difficulty match the number of points you get to upgrade the village (e.g. Klondike only nets you a hundred or so points while Spider nets you double that) Still, the ad free version is far more enjoyable to play and I’m old school and love Klondike. Second, why is it so difficult for companies to implement syncing of game data through Game Center? Yes, you technically can sync your game through Game Center...manually...every time you switch devices (e.g. iPhone to iPad and back again). Why not sync data up after each game and down in first load? Make this a pro feature—no ads AND automatic sync—if you must but please make this a feature. Third, iPads still exist and I’m assuming many people, like myself, use them in landscape more, especially when charging. A lot of apps seem to forget this and this one is no exception. Please provide a landscape mode for this game.

Good game, but...

Please stop the political ads- I.e. Prager U and RNC polls. I play games like yours to escape all the proselytizing, not to increase my exposure.

Just wish there was a premium version

I’d love to pay a few bucks to remove ads

Cool idea, Too many ads
Sydney Russell

I love the idea of a game that changes the more you play! Much better than just having a level bar when playing solitaire. I had this game almost a month but sadly didn’t play it too often. I often play a quick game on lunch or on commutes. I had to sit through an ad before and after each deal and it made it a hassle. Most time the ads wouldn’t play due to poor cell service or take a minute to load. Even worse at times the ads would crash the game. Lucky I wouldn’t loose any score or points I had. It’s a fair grind to get your little kingdom going and it looks adorable, but if you’re not willing to pay a fee or have the time to deal with the ads, it feels more like a task than a game.
