A few hints from the author (Warning: Contains vague spoilers):
-Afterward takes place over a finite number of days. So each time your character goes to bed, the game progresses.
-You cannot "lose" Afterward in the traditional sense. There is just one ending.
-As the game progresses, you will begin to see patterns and changes emerging.
-My intent is that the player think about the game's meaning and come to his or her own conclusions upon completing it. The meaning of Afterward is ultimately up to you.
If you've completed the game or don't mind massive spoilers, a condensed playthrough highlighting some of my intentions for the game can be viewed at the following link:

Afterward is completely free and best experienced with headphones.
It looked like a good idea but there are no hints to help get past the very beginning and you just get confused doing the exact same thing over and over again without knowing if your doing the right thing or not. I recommend getting it so someone can figure out how to play this game.
Have no idea how to progress. Am on i-pad and have tried touch screen and control screen to no avail. Not a clue how to play and no clues provided anywhere, even on Internet.
I have no clue what to do. If I'm just supposed to progress the days then I can't take it anymore. Waking up, walking very slowly down the same sidewalk and then all the way back home and to bed 6 times in a row with no sign of anything changing. If I felt like anything at all was happening I might keep going. But it's too dull as for now.
I am so confused. I really want this game to be good but I'm not sure what the point is. Please someone else get it and post if it's worth playing.
