I want to like this game, but...

(PLEASE READ THE STATEMENT AT THE BOTTOM) I understand that the game is free. I understand that the people behind this game have to make an income out of this somehow. I understand that there are ways to get gold currency for free. So what’s my problem? Ranked mode and its absurd bias to the players who have the better guns! Now normally, people would simply leave the blame on the overpowered guns or the maps and their layouts and call it a day. No. It’s the fact that the Multiplayer Mode has no dividers between weaker players and stronger players! Everyone who plays in PVP is thrown into the same arena and is forced to fight a random player playing PVP just like them. The entire Ranked population is shoved into one, single reward system. A quick comparison to another competitive shooter is Modern Combat 5. What I like more about this game over MC5 is that it’s in third-person, the weapon building makes progress feel more personal, and the pay-to-win is usually not that bad (65% of the time), BUT MC5 separates its player base by their performance. You’re no good at the game? You’re put in a bracket with players who aren’t good at it either. You’re owning everyone in your current bracket? Well, we’ll just put you a bracket higher and see if you’re still dropping everyone like flies. (Not to mention the fact that you start out with 1000 Combat points in Ranked to start, when it should be zero, so first timers have nothing to lose.) Afterpulse shouldn’t shove all its players into one group to fight each other. You seriously can’t expect someone with Assault Rifle to compete with someone with a Grenade Launcher! And in a Warehouse TDM!?! Are you serious?! (By the way, I think that AGL Launcher needs a scale back in damage. I can’t go 10 feet from my spawn without getting blown to bits in Warehouse, let alone any other map as well.) Afterpulse is a decent, borderline good-ish game. I want it to enjoy playing it, but it can get to the point where I could probably get more stress from playing this game than playing I Am Bread (see I AM BREAD Let’s Plays). But with this many overpowered players owning me and any newcomer to this game with their Grenade Launchers, in Ranked? I find it increasingly harder to stay on board with Afterpulse. P.S. - STOP KICKING ME OUT OF RANKED MATCHES BECAUSE OF “POOR CONNECTIVITY”! Every time my ping skyrockets because someone decides to use a microwave, WHILE I’M IN RANKED, I might as well kiss 10 CP goodbye cause the game kicks me out of the room. And with the players buying all the good guns already farming off of the free players that try to stick with this game, it’s not like I’m going to get those Combat Points anytime soon! FIX THIS!

This game is so good and have a really good graphic i loved it but there’s hackers in this game, they have all the good weapons and armors and they are so strong, I can’t do anything when I’m facing them in battle because they’re strong, so please I really hope you can bann them
Left a great review before; glitch has made me hate it

I left a great review before praising the graphics and game play, but there is a particular glitch that has made me hate this game. For some reason, even though I average probably 15:5 k:d per game I end up with 0 points. And the other team gets the points! That glitch alone has made me not want to play at all. If I don't get an update within a week that addresses the problem then I will delete the game. If it's fixed then I'll re review it with 5 stars as before. Such a bummer that all the potential of this game is wasted.

This is a very good game! My only problem is that when you’re online playing for combat points, and you suddenly get kicked out because my internet connection “has significantly worsened”, you lose 10 points. I’m a noob at the game so it’s really hard to get those points back. It would be great if you could do something about that... ???

I was very sceptical about the death and rebirth of this game. I had a lot of time and money into it when Gamevil gave up. Digital legends has done a fantastic job with the veteran package that they have provided. I only have about half of the loot that I will have from the package, but I am very happy with the kit that I have. I will continue to play this game and look forward to what Digital Legends has in the future. Update- The only thing that is worse than how stale this game has gotten is the fact that its the best multiplayer shooter on iOS. Camp, spam, rinse and repeat.
It’s a watered-down shoot, but very fun

It’s a watered-down shooter with limited mechanics, but you’d be surprised just how fun this game really is. The graphics are gorgeous and you get leveled up often enough that it keeps it very fun. You get new weapons often and they actually change gameplay a bit. Once you find your favorite gun, you’ll destroy on the team death match. Also, the matches are short and fast enough to be able to play them for a quick 5 minutes between class or while waiting for someone. Great game.
