Playing with it might just buy the full version

Good sound quality.

Aladinodyno

The app have a considerably good sound quality to be an app. However the “savor” is not really there yet. Some of the patterns sounds might sound a little bit strange in terms of construction elements and rhythm, if you compare them to the real thing. It might be a little simple and amateurish for a real pro Latin rhythm musician appetite. But hey.., it’s a machine and you can program it in most of the ways you might need. I can give easy a 4 stars just because of the usefulness of the percussion instrument sounds that it contains. I don’t know if I can use a MIDI control device with it yet, nor if I can make use of it as a MIDI module, which is the main purpose I bought it for. I really haven’t had the time yet to check those features. But as soon as I found about these important technical aspects I will let you know for sure.

Pretty Good

Riskylooks

First app I have come across with a wide variety of Afro Cuban beats. Better than the Latin loops available in GarageBand.

Afro

Betoctz

Very good. Amazingly realistic.

Very useful tool.

GTR ART

Very useful tool to use while waiting for someone or something to get done. This way I can practice "programming patterns" or learn new ones from the App it self. ???

Good sounds, simple to use

JakobBlue

I can see a lot of potential using this app alone or in conjunction with other drum apps to create more inventive beats.

Not a bad tool.

The price is a little high on the full version for me. I will play around with it to see if I want to spend the money. The Ipad is just not the high quality output source that some of the app makers have been told. Plus, the adapters are even pricier. If you have a friend or friends you can achieve the same thing and it's live. Moreover, the rigid patterns don't have the heart that real players do so it's always gonna make a person sound like a wannabe if they use it live. Practicing though, this is the poopy!! Hope this review helps. SRTF
