W&B

BakoPilot

I will do another rating. I had a very difficult time setting up W&B and configuring it. Most of the difficulty was most likely "me." With the help of an additional tutorial I was able to configure two Cessna 172's and a Cessna 150. It works very well and it's nice to see a graphical representation of your aircraft's W&B. So, take it with a grain of salt. For me, difficult to configure, but once you done it the second time around is much easier. The program works very well. Using iPad v1

MOONEY MAN

Absolutely the the most useless app I've wasted my money on. I have just spent the last four hours trying to configure the program for a Mooney an it will not save any inputs I make. Too bad everyone doesn't fly a 172! Support page is just as worthless! The tutorial doesn't even represent the same pages that I'm dealing with. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!

Tough Sledding

KRNT52907

Very difficult to set up and no help or hints. I kind of have our 182 loaded but, now, here do enter station weights. I guess I'll go spend some more money

Watch the tutorial is a MUST!

Wichita Flyer

This is a great app that plugged a hole in my electronic flight bag that includes a flight planner, moving maps and approach plates. I was stumbling around in the dark with the installation until I found the two tutorials for the iPhone and iPad. Without them learning how to use the apps is frustrating. Go there first to learn how for each unit. BTW when will Zero Fuel Weight and Trip Fuel estimate be available for iPad version? Charles L

Inoperable

Comanche rob

I could not get this program to work..there are no instructions or help of any kind....good luck if you buy it.:(

Don't buy

Worthless7436

I spent about a hour and could not figure out how to set it up. Read the tutorial and tried the video. No sound on the video. Completely useless. Would like my money back. PS. I am a GA pilot with an IFR rating. I don't know how others got it to work.

Works Great For Me

Postbar182

I'm not sure why others are having such a hard time setting this up. It only took me about 10 minutes without looking at the tutorials. The process seems pretty simple: 1) define the boundaries of your envelop, 2) define the various loading stations; all within the aircraft definition page, 3) define your specific airplane's CG location and connect it to the envelop panel you set up in steps 1 and 2, finally 4) define your loads at each station for each flight going forward. I particularly like the idea of snapshotting the page and forwarding the completed picture to my email for historic records. This is a pretty good app and easy to use in my opinion. Definitely worth the $3.

Don't bother

Not easy to use. Don't waste the $3.

Needs improvement

None wanted!

Sounds good was initially difficult to set up, got past that & entered W & B info; all done however at main screen--nothing! My aircraft, information not listed, not shown & no other menus or buttons to use-help file not helpful--at this time app is worthless

Problem with ver3

ddt5420

I think there is a problem now with version 3. I have an iPad2 and in portrait position I can only see the W&B chart and have no access to the menu or weight table. This is not convenient; in the cockpit I mount the iPad in portrait position and can not make changes in flight. I don't recall having this problem in earlier versions
