It's a really good start, but...

If you decide to move in a different order than the developers want you to, you can't go back or you have to start the level over. Controls are buggy, so it's rather frustrating. I really like the graphics and story line. Hopefully there will be an update to make the game flow better.

Annoying beyond belief

In concept, this is a decent game. However, everything about the gameplay is annoying. Sometimes it won't let you move on until you have everything. The next minute, it lets you throw something away you need later. Also, in the middle of play, an ad will pop up as you are tapping on the screen thereby forcing you to go to that page. When you go back to the game you have to start again. The final nail in the coffin is that it ignores my silent settings on my phone and blasts the theme song each time I open it after getting kicked to one of those aforementioned ad sites.

Fun for free, ads make game glitch

The design is really cute. It reminds me of paper Mario. The later levels are awesome bc they require a lot more steps to complete. Don't press the bad guys! Don't switch apps --it resets the level! The ads did test my patience. They sometimes force you auto fail a level a few times before you can start it.

Could be good

As others have stated, ads are just horrible. They pop up all the time and even take you out of the game when you haven't even tapped in them. Then you have to go back to a reset level. Also, the music is beyond generic... wow... no thought put into it. Another issue is that its design is clunky. You get used to it but constantly having a big popup is annoying. Couldn't they have just put the dialog in the screen? You flip back and forth so much with inventory, too... I like the level designs and overall concept, so hopefully they fix it!

Painful
Gutter03

A full-on assault from the ads distracts from what could have been a good little game. Some of the puzzles are clever, but the gameplay is very annoying, especially the inventory. Pop-ups induce auto-fails. Theme music is insipid. Deleting.

Hate the ads love the game

I concur with all the other reviews on here so irritating to have the ads cause auto fail I wouldn't mind them if they didn't cause the game to screw up first app I've seen to do this please fix this soon!

Unenjoyable

The game has difficulty loading most of the time. I had 2 random crashes on the first puzzle. The gameplay is linear as you are unable to do most things until you've collected/done what needs to come right before. I prefer the free form style of most escape-the-room games, but the character tells you exactly why you can't do what you're trying. On top of that, you're inundated with full screen ads that detract from what little game there is. If it's free, maybe worth a try, but I wouldn't pay a penny for this game.
