Gemma Knight Achievement?

Jasonshadeslayer79

Does anyone know how to get the Gemma Knight Achievement in the Game Center? I have pretty much all of the Achievements save this particular one, and there are no details on what is needed to be awarded it.

A Great Introduction Into The Series

Haltendo

I first saw this game on the newest apps section on the home page. I saw the title and thought that it was some crappy fan game. I saw the Square-Enix brand on it and I was interested. I quickly learned that it was a remake of Final Fantasy Adventure for the game boy, the first game in the mana series. I wanted to try the series for a while, so I decided to get it, and I was not disappointed. No doubt about it, this is one of the best action RPG I've ever played. The graphics and over all presentation are amazing for iOS,not to mention the awesome soundtrack. The story isn't the greatest, but it makes up for it in the gameplay. You go on an adventure fighting monsters going through dungeons and finding treasure. It's simple, but fun. When you beat enough monsters, you get a level up and your stats grow like any RPG,but when you level up, you can chose what stat to give a bigger increase. This allows you many ways to customize your character. My favorite thing about the game are its intense boss battles. They are so satisfying to bring them down. Overall, this game is awesome, and I encourage anyone to play it.

An absolute must-have

I just finished this game for my 3rd time and i have to say that it is still a fantastic game. The story of this game is very enjoyable and i personally get hooked every time i play this. The price tag on this game is seriously worth your time. My first play-through took about 9 hours to complete, the other 2 times being around 7 or so hours. The best partnabout this game is that you can play the game completely different every time. The stat distribution after each level-up brings some interesting playstyles to the table. Although i see people complaining about the use of consumables, how you need a lot, i dont really think that is the case. Just stock up on 2 stacks of keys and mattocks every time you start a dungeon, and if you run out, monsters have a chance to drop the items you need. When you get the morning star, you dont even need mattocks anymore sonce it can destroy rocks as well. I really wish that i could give a huge in-depth analysis on the game but you probably dont want to read all of that. My last bit of advice is that: THIS GAME IS WORTH THE MONEY. And stock up before you go into a dungeon :P Have fun with this fantastic game.

Great "resto-mod" of a classic

I got the game when it was new and played it to death on the original GB. I played the first remake on GBA but never finished it. I like what they have done with this version and how they have stayed 99% faithful to the original and only remade the graphics and music. However, there are two big problems with the game in my opinion. 1) AI: in the original, the screens were cramped and you couldn't avoid the monsters as easily. Now the screen is open and the mobs are SO dumb they often turn their backs away and wait idly to be slaughtered like pigs. They need to be reprogrammed to at least actively attack. The game is ridiculously easy because of this. 2. Armor and helmets invisible: really? The shields and weapons are visible. Why are armors and helmets invisible? Is it still 1991?

Great Game! A Bit too easy

I don't know if it's just me, but I leveled up pretty fast throughout the game and each boss was very easy to defeat. I beat each boss in less than a minute. The dungeons are the harder parts of the game. Some can get pretty confusing and repetitive. Hint: Always stock up on those keys and hammocks or you might get stuck until monsters drop those in the treasures.

Well made remake of Final Fantasy Adventure!

Omega_Supreme333

Highly recommend if you are a fan of the original FFA on Gameboy or if you've never even played it before. Beautiful story, graphics, music, and excellent gameplay.

Wonderful game

Moonlightowl88

Adventures of Mana is a beautiful and engaging game--I can't put it down. The graphics are amazing, the storyline is entrancing, the music is beautiful, and the gameplay is addicting. Thank you for making such a wonderful app!

Would have been a 5 star but....

Noid4you

This is a fun game with hours of game play. I've played 12 hours so far just to get to the end and not have enough keys. So now I'm stuck, in the last dungeon, and I can't even go back to get more keys. At first I thought it was worth every cent but now I think it was a waste of my money.

Perfect Remake

Mrcookjr

I think I got Final Fantasy Adventure in 1992. I would stay up under my blanket playing it with a flashlight. This remake really touches the child in me and I am truly thankful for it. It is the same game through and through.

Not fun

Jon Chizm

This game is really boring and the controls are clumsy. Also there's no mission indicators so you spend a lot of time wandering around aimlessly.
