Usually love these games

I am a big fan of these games, Murder Inn is my fourth one. But this game is ridiculously hard. There just aren’t enough hints and I’m not willing to pay for more. Ive been trying to play this off and on for months now because I get so frustrated I just set it aside.

No thanks...

I had just played Haunted Hunt and was so thrilled and impressed that I looked for another Haiku game. Murder Inn was such a let down. Waaay too many ambiguous clues and puzzles that were boring and redundant, not to mention frustrating. I think they tried way too hard to be clever at every single turn so gameplay was just tedious. Also, some puzzles have more than one correct solution (ie the dinner menu, and the checker game) so even if you are correct, you cannot move on until you figure out the “accepted” answer. I’m not in to having to re-solve things after spending a lot of time getting to the solution. This is a hard pass... it wasn’t even remotely fun because their clues and puzzles are so “out there”. I’m not saying the game should be easy but this game is chaotic and unrewarding.

Good Game!

Jay did it. Turns out he wasn’t really dead, just hiding.

Long and entertaining

This gave me many days of entertainment. The story in this adventure escape game was much more in depth than I expected. The only complaint I would have is that it is sometimes very unclear what clue is for what puzzle, and when getting hints it almost always isn’t presenting me with information related to what I am working on or is a hint to something I have already done. I would however still highly recommend this game.

The puzzles in this game made absolutely no sense.

WELL WORTH A PLAY!

I rarely give games a “5-star” rating, but this game is so well thought-out, so expansive, and so dang fun—and IT’S FREE—that I had to write this review. If you enjoy point-and-click puzzle-adventure games, this is a must-play. Well done, Haiku!

Good game

Overall a good game. Biggest problem is that it does not save your progress. At least when you have saved a major puzzle, when you come back, it lets you skip for free. If you solve a combination lock, write it down for when you come back to the game

Fun.

Yes and No

Don’t like not saving progress, nor the bazaar crazy codes, which make no sense. They are off the wall. I do like the puzzles.
