So stupid. Contacted Adobe and posted on Adobe help forums where others are having same exact issue! No updates to the app despite promises from Adobe employee they’re working on it. App is fine except for this annoying beyond beliefto have lingering ghost notification.

i have to take an individual screenshot of each page of an 18 page PDF, THEN run it thru adobe scan with OCR on, in order to get an OCR-ed PDF. i work in a field where searching for key words in many-paged PDFs on an iphone is a daily activity
