This is only the second time an app has impressed me enough to write a review. I have this app on my iPad mini 4, and my iPhone 7 plus. Honestly I don't even remember there is such a thing as pop ups or annoying ads on mobile devices until i hear someone else complaining about them. This app works so good all by it's self with such little input from me honestly I forget it's even in my phone 90% of the time. The free version works just as well also. The only reason I upgraded to the pro version is because I felt the makers of this app deserve to be paid for the free one and I want them to keep up the good work.

SERIOUSLY slows down your phone

I've been using this app for almost a year now. Worked fine after a while. Then, all of a sudden, my brand new iPhone 7 Plus became RIDICULOUSLY slow. Restoring multiple times, clearing cache and rebooting multiple times per day did absolutely nothing. I was almost ready to have Apple replace my phone after weeks of very sluggish performance. Something told me the VPN this app has (or just the app in general) was the cause of my slow performing device. Within 3 minutes of turning off VPN my phone is working just like the day I bought it. It's a shame, because I did like the app. Especially blocking ads within apps (although as of late that feature hasn't been working well either). That feature was the main reason I spent $10 on this app, but unless they come up with an update to fix the negative effect it has on phone performance I'll have to get rid of this

Set up Ad Guard DNS to block ads system wide

The DNS trick appears to work I used the iTunes hack to download a previous version.

Does not seem to work at all with Facebook anymore which was the main reason I got this. Still works somewhat with safari but a lot of ads that had not been popping up suddenly are now. I'm not sure what they did with the last update but it was all bad. It's also slowing down my phone now as well. If they fix it I'll revise my rating back to 5 stars.
