Nice

It made my phone look so much better when I was closed and I had to delete it and then I put it down for the first year. It works great for me and my family.

Privacy Concern

Internet Nobody

Wondering why it’s free? Your ad-data is going to their actual, working VPN servers, most likely to collect and resell it. Let’s not do that. Blocks ads fine, sure, but the underlying concern here is that they are still logging your information with their VPN servers. That information is likely profiled to your identity by the time you get this app. The privacy policy is a mess. It states they “never sell this personalized data” (that they collect on their VPN) in bold text, more than likely to tie you over from reading the rest of the privacy policy terms. However, later on, it outright contradicts itself in another clause that says they’ll still share or sell personalized data for a bunch of other reasons (legal, affiliates, etc). So, you decide whether or not to trust this app. It primarily hangs on their “word”. I’m going to turn this down and spend two dollars on the adblocker that redirects that ad data to a local dead-end instead.

Great App

Good so far

I've only had the app for a week but I've definitely noticed that I haven't heard an ad yet.

Effective but chews through battery

Nicky1090

Very good at its job, no ads whatsoever, but with the phone open and connected to any network the battery drains at a percent a minute. This is on a 6s that normally has a drain of a percent every fifteen minutes when wifi is on.

Needs work.

It would be good if this app were to have different protocols to choose from for VPN setup. It would be nice to see UDP, TCP, IKEv2, L2TP, and IPsec VPN protocols and the ability for the app to auto diagnose the connection when it fails to connect to a certain network on wifi since the AdBlock wifi app is no longer available in the Apple App Store in the United States.

so i tried it

Sunderbug

i tried it- then deleted it- and quickly reinstalled it- i was having so much trouble reading content for advertisements- this really solved it!

Works but VPN always on

Moved back to this app after a competitor Adblock had to change their rules due to Apple. It does block ads, including on T-Mobile (in contrast to the competitor). However, you’ll always have a VPN in the corner and you don’t have good controls over where the traffic is going.
