Slowed down my browser

After I installed Adblock Fast my Safari browser became choppy and slow. I thought it might be a connection issue but when I would disable it my browser worked fine.
Blocks only few ads

This is the first so I downloaded for Safari. I was really excited. But this app is very permissive with company ads. They do not really block them. They should review the filters.

It looks like a great app to me, but I want to see how many ads blocked and how much data I saved. That would be an awesome feature!

I tried two ad blocker apps before stumbling upon AdBlocker Fast and found this app to be the only one that blocked each and every ad. It's fast and efficient. I love it!

I think this is the best of them all. I tried: 1Blocker, Ad-Blocker for Safari, Ad Block Multi, Adamant, Admop, Crystal, Purify, Vivio and a bunch of others I forgot the name. This one is great. Unfortunately it doesn't block all ads from websites I visit. Try on the websites you visit most. If you see no problem, keep it.

Seriously, you need this app, especially if you're on a limited data plan. Safari is faster and scrolling through web pages is like BUTTAH without ads eating up precious resources. To whoever made this, I love you and want to have your babies.
FAIL. Does not block a single ad!

Go to any ad-drenched website and see for yourself; Adblock Fast does not block any ads! I was simply astonished by the conjob the devs have done! Their product simply does not work!

It blocked a streaming video box, that was not an ad. Who knows what other non-ads it eliminates. Also, it does not prevent tracking, has no whitelisting option, and still leaves blank spaces where ads used to be (that the best ad blockers remove). For other free options, I slightly preferred Freedom or 1Blocker. They both have the same negatives as this app, but did not block the streaming video. Freedom seems to be the fastest, while 1Blocker does have an in-app purchase for greater options. My current preference is AdMop, but sadly it is no longer free. For other paid options, Purify and Silentium may also be worth their price. Update: The latest update to Freedom now blocks social media widgets. You can decide for yourself if that is a positive or negative. Also, my testing of Purify found it to be over aggressive in its blocking, as well. However, it does additionally remove tracking, social media widgets, and blank ad space, while adding whitelisting.
