Gimped

Having come from Windows and Android devices, I’m really shocked at how gimped the AdBlock experience is on iOS. Sure, Apple has a strict walled-garden compared to other operating systems, but when I look at AdBlock’s competitors, I lose my compassion. I seriously doubt that Apple prevents basic browser functions like close all tabs and search.

Dont bother getting this. Selecting links at the bottom of the page is impossible, because every time you press it, the browser toolbar will just come up instead.

Pretty good but one irritating bug

This is a decent browser for an ad-free mobile internet experience. Unfortunately, the app won’t let you delete tabs, which is seriously irritating and slows processing significantly. Many others have asked for this fix but the developers weirdly refuse to do it. Also, in-app gifs and video rarely work (other than YouTube), so I have to paste the url in a “real” browser to get it to work. Meh.
Frequently crashes; needs update

I’ve used this browser ocassionally for years. After upgrading my iOS to 12, Adblock would frequently crash. I see that the last update was over a year ago, which seems like a long time. I’m going to look for a replacement with a more active development schedule.

“Connection lost” messages pop up, what is this? Some websites still have their own popups that get through the browser filters. I like the feel and the privacy features of the browser, but stability and speed need to be there. A little more work to do, AdBlock!!!!

I’ve been using this app for years and it has been great but lately it crashes a lot, maybe because of my new iPhone XS, so please update the app and allow smooth usability for all phones. Oh and the browser is super small on my phone so also update tht 2. Basically just update the app to current advancements

This app used to be stable but now with my new iPhones crashes so many times, its apple behind this or needs developers to fix this. I wonder.
