Blocks nothing

Lawood50

Down loaded and tried for three weeks doesn't block any adds

Doesn't block anything

rioji-kun

Trying to play a video and I keep getting new tabs or it starts going to a bogus website I'm not trying to go to...

Always crashing

Knobhead99999

I tried this for about ten days. At first it seemed great, but as I used it more the first crash occurred. I thought it might be unrelated, but then another crash, and another, the website becomes unresponsive and then the app shuts down. After two more crashes today I've given up and uninstalled.

Saved my sanity.

Ads today are annoying, do not point out the positive nature of a product, and I refuse to deal with it anymore. Some ads I think are harmless like pictures for closes or really short non-intrusive ones. But when there is just so much annoying junk, I was borderline on the brink of giving up videos and going to a life of reading.

Doesn't work

Jayski45

Downloaded in hopes it would block pop up ads as it claims. Does nothing. It's like it doesn't even exist on my phone. Garbage.

ADS ARE DUMB

Dean455

I HATE ADS SO THIS BROWSER IS AWESOME!!!!!1one!!!!!!

Bookmarks disappeared

Fgsejjn

No bookmarks appeared, and I can't update!

My data is still gone (September, 2017)

The bookmarks, history, and autocomplete fields you wiped out during a previous update are still gone. I've switched to Dolphin browser, which blocks ads and doesn't trash my data.

New update shuffle

Lynxthinks

I've used this browser for over a year now, so I've gotten quite used to its quirks. Clear out the cache often to avoid it crashing, the tabs-are-pages that you access on a different screen thing. I got used to it to avoid ads, and even that it did poorly, never stopping websites from opening pop ups into new "pages" or redirecting my phone to the AppStore constantly. Even so, it was better than safari so I guess worth it. After a year of using this app, now they changed the placement of everything. New tab moved from an icon to a drop down menu. It's one of the most used buttons, why would you hide it? Or why not put it on the tab screen as a little plus to add another tab? The tab screen button was moved from bottom right to bottom middle. There's no reasoning for this swap, which is as infuriating as someone coming in the night and shuffling all of your iPhone tiles for no reason. You had a system that worked for years, now I'm spending time accidentally mashing the bookmark page. As for the bookmark page, I honestly don't know why it was so difficult for other users to find it. I *really* don't know why it had to be moved into the prime real estate of the new tab button. I'm still boggled that new tab was moved into a menu. Finally, they implemented ghost mode, akin to incognito mode. While this was a good idea, it doesn't particularly affect me since again, I had to clear my cache every two days so the app wouldn't crash. All in all, I'm leaving it at one star. I don't know why you would shuffle around your key features after having them the same for years. The app was supposed to be streamlined for iOS users, and while the redesign looks visually appealing, it doesn't contribute to usability whatsoever.
