The app utilizes an organized four Criteria approach to identify the rhythms. You can also study the Description of the rhythm to review the electrophysiology. Use the same process to test yourself and review all the ECG rhythms.
When you feel you have mastered the rhythms in this program you should review the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support algorithms using the app Anesoft 'ACLS Sim 2016'.
I was charged for this app and when I tried opening it, it would just stay on the title page. Never opened and never worked for me.
App is not working cost me a buck never got passed the main screen!
I was skeptical about purchasing this app, but for .99 cents figured I wasn't losing much. I was pleasantly surprised. This app is awesome!!!! I took a rhythm quiz today for a RN job & passed it. The only thing I studied was this app. All the rhythms that was on my test were reviewed in this app. I really like that it is a live simulation & gives you options to choose. If you need education about the rhythms, the app gives you a great detailed description of each. As well as the criteria for each rhythm. Its a must have!
The app is well laid out and reviews what you need Incase you don’t understand. HOWEVER it keeps calling standard sinus tach, A-tach even tho the qrs is clearly not narrow and the rate is only 100. For that I think it needs looked at by developers. Update: This app needs seriously remapped in the terms of how a strip really looks, the descriptions of rhythms are more or less correct, but more times than not I see rhythms that look one way and are being considered another ex: a strip had a 75bpm rate with single morphology p waves and normal complex’s through the strip once every few or more beats was slightly early, that’s Sinus Arrhythmia. They wanted to call it sinus with pac. Which I get, but you can’t have a beat that’s slightly off the rate that matches the rhythm perfectly, a pac is either overlapping and the p is in the t or the p wave has a different morphology. (It even describes it that way in the description of the rhythm in the app). You are giving wrong examples of what a rhythms looks like vs description. I’m deleting this app it doesn’t do any good and I would never recommend it to someone starting out in fear of learning the incorrect things!
