Hours of fun. Definitely worth the price. Loved it years ago and the updated version is fantastic!

Well worth the price for hours and hours of game play.

Great game!

Bring back so much memory from the old day (Palm device). Graphic is ok but who care about graphic when you have great game play and story line. They don't make rpg games like this anymore.

What a great game! Very nostalgic for me...

I was surprised to see this game had been ported from the Palm version from over ten years ago! I remember playing it on the tiny Treo screen and it's so much more playable now. Kudos for bringing it forward!

Classic RPG Feel

Good game so far. Really dig the music and art work, I like the old school RPG vibe. Pretty tough to get started, but once I figured out how to work the odd-jobs at the inn, it was gravy time. Definitely recommend.

Great retro game

For those of us old enough to remember the original smartphone era (Palm Treos/Handspring), this is a landmark for us. Ackeron is a great throwback rpg with an interesting plot line and a lot of charm. There's a lot to do here; it's easy to miss some of the jobs, though the main quest is fairly straightforward. Probably best described as a hybrid of Final Fantasy and the Zelda series. Well worth picking up!

Awesome game!! The storyline is on par with Baldur's Gate and Fallout. The gameplay is better than Final Fantasy. I _highly_ recommend this to anybody looking for an engaging immersive RPG. Heh, I want you to get this so that they are encouraged to make more games! :-)

Yaaaaaas!

Loved this game on my Palm and couldn't believe it was released on iOS!! Instabuy and looking forward to more titles in the future!!

Great game with old school vibe

It's hard to describe how this game plays. To me it is kind of like a single-person party version of Final Fantasy. The game had more depth than your typical mobile RPG and managed to combine enough combat complexity with a simple interface so that it played well on an iPhone. I actually finished this (maybe around 20 hours? Hard to say for sure.) which is rare for me. Normally I get bored about halfway through. This one actually picked up the pace as you went instead of running out of steam. The dev was also quick to respond when I ran into one minor issue that was easily corrected. Highly recommend this title to RPG fans.

Overlooked classic

A decade ago, I spent dozens of happy hours on my PalmPilot, exploring this large world. Lots of quests, missions, character progression, and gadgets. I played it thru 3 times in different guilds, then forgot about Ackeron when PalmPilots went extinct. It's back! In color, better graphics, but the same simple-clever battle system and building storyline. At first, you die. A lot. But don't give up- slug thru the mountains to find more villages, a volcano base, lost tech, and underground hermits. Very responsive customer support.
