I would like to type in a string of text and hear the play back, e.g., CQ CQ CQ KB2HSU THE BRIDGE IS OUT RADIOACTIVITY Also, the reference board should be at 20.

Are you kidding?

I paid 2 bucks for this. I thought it would be cool to learn Morse Code. Guys come on. You can't expect a person to have access to a cheat sheet and than just start interpreting. You can't even toggle to the cheat sheet during a game. The look and sound of the game is great, but it needs a training/teaching mode. Flashcard style. First the letter with it's Morse equivalent should pop up and you could hear it and than try to emulate it. Than as you grow more comfortable, you could shut off the various real time hints until you could actually play the game. As a training tool this app is not very good, but it could be. All the elements are there except for the apps ability to interpret input from the user. Also, a section on the history, development, use and implementation of Morse Code would be cool. Why $2.00? And why did I spend it on this app?

Not for someone really wanting to learn the code.

I have enjoyed this app more than any of the others in the App Store so far and I have tried almost all of them. I have been able to increase my receiving speed which is key. What I would like to see is more words in the higher levels and also more of what you would hear on the HF Bands. I would also like to see punctuation like periods, commas, question marks. All in all this is a nice app and I continue to come back to it everyday. I start at level 1 to warm up and refresh, then spend about 30 minutes with the higher levels and the timer is nice as well.
