I like this app but update needed

I like this app for my kids and I have purchased the full version but I can’t open it because it says that the developer needs to update it. If you don’t plan on updating it can I get a refund? I downloaded it not too long ago and now it’s useless.

I downloaded this app for myself because I wanted to brush up on basic multiplication. This is the first app that has truly helped me do that. The factors are all customizable and the timer can be toggled on or off (which I love). Another great thing is that the app makes you type out the answer on its keyboard instead of giving you a list of answers. It makes me need to think about it and that's just what I was looking for. So thank you!
