Doesn’t work
Shawnuhlyn

This app has never synced with my desktop account edge. And my desktop account edge is an even 64 bit which is with Mac is begin to require so I don’t even know if I’ll be able to use that soon. Account edge is the only accounting software I’ve ever used for my businesses but if they don’t get their act together and may have to look for better technology.

Needs Updating

I own a carpet cleaning company, so just about everyone I meet is a lead. The desktop version has two different categories for leads and customers to keep them separate (as they should be), but the iPhone app does not. There’s only “Customers”. It would be nice to be able to add someone to my “Leads” cards while I’m out and about. It would also be nice if I could make phone calls directly from the app. Again, when I’m working out and about and I need call a customer it would be nice to be able to simply locate the customer’s card in the app, tap the phone number, and it makes the call. But the way it is now I have to open both the phone app and AccountEdge Mobile and switch between each one mentally copying the number from AccountEdge to the phone. The differences between the desktop version and the app make the app feel like a completely different product, and quite inferior.

Horrible App!!!

What’s the point of having this app when you can not access the info in your accounting software, it is so limited. It needs a lot of work, learn from the competency!!!

Garbage!

Mobile app doesn’t work well at all! The desktop version IS NOT 64 bit compatible so you can not upgrade to Catalina. We’re looking to dump everything and change accounting software. The other developers were able to make 64 bit comparable programs, but not this one... Unacceptable!!! Not worth giving 1 star but you can’t review with less.

Need history...whats the point?

This is supposed to be a tool for the mobile worker but I can't look up a past invoice, adjust a ticket... Once it's saved it's gone from the iPad. This is really silly guys. What's the point? Navigation makes entry take about 5x longer than it needs to. Pretty sad. Was expecting much more.

Why can't you print your invoice!!
Skippy121212

I don't understand why you can only email invoices. This makes no sense. Not all people have email. I need a signed copy of the invoice. Makes no sense. Very disappointed!!!

No card/reminder log entries?
Urmamasallama

If this is really for the salesperson on the road, then it's critical that card log entries are accessible from the mobile app as well as sales, sales history, and other things mentioned in prior reviews. Great concept, but weak and unrealistic tool. Really disappointing, as we thought this would be perfect for our sales force.

Pointless...wish it was more connected to desktop

I love AccountEdge and am so grateful an accounting program exists on the Mac that is so powerful. HOWEVER, this app is completely pointless for me. I don't even use the sales feature on the Mac app. I would like to see my bank register, run reports, etc. I am really wishing it was just more Iike the desktop software. This app is of completely no use...

Come on ... AccountEdge on your Phone?

Ok, so it doesn't do all that one might like, but for version 1 this is a way cool app! Having control over which cards and items show up so I don't have to carry my whole data file around is great. Not needing to show my mobile staff everything in my file is good too. When i am out of the office making business purchases, i really appreciate being able to enter them on the go and having them show up in my data file when I get back. Being able to get all my activity slips from my mobile staff without them coming into the office is great! There are some things I'd like AEM to do, but I know only more good things will be coming from the folks at Acclivity as we let them know what we would like because my experience has been that they do listen to their users. And for those folks who are upset about needing to upgrade to use AEM - come on, if you have a business you should know better. No return on investment = no sense in investing.

Very Disappointing

I downloaded a trial of the Mac Desktop software and the iPad Mobile App to start using for a new company I setup. Unfortunately the iPad App constantly crashes. You can't work on it for a minute without it crashing. I'm clearly not the only one suffering from this problem. How can developers release something like this, seriously!? When my trial of the desktop software expires if you guys (developers) have not fixed the crashing problem I won't be spending the money to purchase the software.
