Love this app! It's got great resources all in one place. I'm a medical student in clinical rotations and I use this app a lot for a quick reference.
This app functions solely for the purpose of putting 4 references onto one platform. You can search topics through apps like diagnosaurus, fitzpatrick's clinical derm, pocket guide to diagnostic tests and quick medical diagnosis and treatment. Great in that sense, not good for the purpose I tend to use accessmedicine for; using my institutions subscription to read ebooks. Shame because that would be a great use on a mobile platform.
As a PA student this is very useful app for clinical rotations. Access Medicine helps for anyone preparing for their PANCE.
Customer support has been sluggish. In app FAQ or better instructions would be helpful
Awesome app for those in the clinical setting MD, NP, PA.. But the very 90 days authentication per your institution can get a little annoying. Only b/c it takes more then the listed 24 hours re-authorization. You can't access the app during that time.. Sometimes I've had to re-download the app.
It keeps asking me to sign in each time I change chapters. Otherwise it is good. It will be even better if the flash card is made accessible directly in the app.
Fantastic resource window with a clean interface and excellent search and cross referencing. Had one issue in the beginning where it insisted my institutional access needed to be updated (wasn't true), but I reinstalled and resigned in and it's been fine since.
My access doesn't seem to give me full access to all the books that I have access to from laptop account. The only books/resources that seem to be avail for searching are the 4 listed on the app info. To be fair they are listed, but that seems deceptive to not have access to all the resources that the website generally provides. It won't sync my favorites from my laptop account to the app so I have to click on the link on the main page to get to the page that looks like the one on the laptop.
