I love this app! It truly is one of the best I have used as a morning devotional. The music, the time choices and even the speaking voices are great! Highly recommend!

Helpful app and worth the subscription. They’ve also recently cleaned up the interface and it looks great! Happy to stick with these guys and support their work for Jesus.

The past 3 weeks have been rough for me. I am going through something with my son. I cried everyday for 2 weeks straight until May 2, 2018 my boss sent me the passage (God’s Perfect Love) and the link for the app. I was hooked,I couldn’t put my phone down, I think I fell asleep while meditating around 4. I have had so much peace since starting this journey. I just want to say God Bless the Abide Team, you have no idea how you have and are helping me EVERYDAY. ??

Olive the app. However I agree with Creative and I do not like bait and switch tactics or rabbit hole chasing. Same thing. I do not care for tactics of cooperate America uses. It is like fishing the fish thinks it is going to get something to eat when the baited hook is let into the water and in turn when he takes a bite he is caught up for a different to be captured and devoured. Are we Christians really then let’s be upfront and not devious.Christianity does not need any more of that here or in this country or world. I listened to the meditation this am and was going to sign up and then I read the review. And that is right.i have tried Abide before and though just maybe you had changed, and I see you have not. So I am must decline it use not because it is not a good one but I do not like “bait and switch tactics. “Yes I am older one with limited funds. But ever mind keep living and you will be as well And if you already are please be up front. Believers in Christ

My trial period ended and I loved it so much that I went ahead and subscribed because I felt it was worth it. It’s a great way to get focused on God in the morning and grow spiritually.

Absolutely love this app

I have been using regular meditation as a form of relaxation and destressing. It’s worked tremendously. I never knew how much more calm you could get by meditation. Today I started to think, how can I find time for meditation so routinely as I do, but yet ignore the fact that this is also time that could be given to God. I love this app...I feel as if it is a jumpstart to meditation. To give you peace and something to also think about and be grateful for during a focused session on silent meditation. Thanks you abide!! The only downfall I see is that I feel funding could be very responsive and beneficial elsewhere. This app could reach out to so many more people if it didn’t have a subscription to it. Nonbelievers or people that have backslid would benefit from this as well in such a more powerful and efficient way. The subscription could just throw out the idea to begin with, or entice someone to just quick the trail afterwards. Although they may want it, maybe they can’t afford it, or maybe it’s just something they don’t do (subscriptions). There should be no ultimatum on Christ, as far as a subscription. Yes there are other resources available, like just picking up the Bible instead. But a guided devotion and prayers are, very much so, easier for someone that has focusing problems or has an extremely busy schedule, or kids...then nobody forgets where they are and they can get right back to where they left off. Many advantages for users to not have a subscription requirement. Abide would benefit from seeking funding via donation or fundraising, or just churches in general. THIS is what we are led to do as Christians. We lead, without any expectation of anything in return. I do understand that you guys are listener supported. I encourage you to contact Mark Pyle, who is the owner of TheFix radio station in my area. It is a Christian radio station-the only one I know of around us that reaches as far as it does. Has been standing and successful for years now. TheFix is also listener supported. Not everyone has money problems, but that then singles out the ones that do. Maybe think about a donation space on the app. Pray that God will bless your ministry, in a way that you can still minister to everyone that comes in contact with this app versus singling out a specific minority. God will provide for this ministry greater than anything anyone would expect for your guidance this app provides. It’s really something!!! Maybe it will be in unknown ways........maybe not. The only other suggestion would be to alter the amount of time in between meditative or provoking questions. There does need to be more time in between dialogue. You can’t dive too deep if not, I understand you can pause the app but that also breaks your concentration which is essential in meditation. Or even ask the questions in the beginning and then maybe a soft reminder during the session. Then a prayer ending. -God Bless.

I have been using abide for about 3 years now. I discovered it through youversion. I loved it. The devotional and scripture based prayers are awesome. I grew to love it more when I heard some of my favorite k-love personalities praying and guiding the devotionals. And also Mandisa and Big Daddy Weave! However as time went on, new speakers were added and no offense to them, but the devotional seem “ hurried and rushed” there is one speaker in particular who for whatever reason when I hear her I cringe. I feel horrible to say it. And as of 2018 she is the one who does most of the devotionals. I love this app. It helps me to deal with insomnia and sadness at times. But I am considering removing it because I don’t like the “rushed or hurried praying. We all do enough rushing around in life. Our alone time with the LORD, should be a time of quiet, calm and peace. Please consider my honest opinion. I don’t mean to hurt or offend anyone.
