Awful new format

Hate this new format! Liked seeing listing of stories and picking which ones to read. This is a pain to scroll through page by page. Horrible!

Does not work with T-Mobile on LTE

The app on iPhone with iOS 11 cannot connect when on T-Mobile LTE network. The iPhone only connects when it is on WIFI.

The layout is terrible! It is very difficult to read news items, when you have ads and pop-ups mixed in together. Having half page items makes it extremely difficult to enjoy reading news with ads mixed in. The old app was much easier to read. Channel 7 Chicago is my go to local news station, however your app is the worse in the city. News items are not updated and tend to stay much to long.

Video doesn’t rotate

My two big gripes are with video that won’t rotate to widescreen, and with the notifications. I have turned off all sports notifications because I was getting spoilers and ones I don’t care about. Having more customization in notifications is nice, but I want even more granular. I didn’t want any of the olympics spoiled for me, so having an Olympics option would’ve been nice. I also don’t care about the cubs, so being able to turn off all notifications for them would be nice. The bigger issue are videos won’t rotate. I’ve updated the app every time I can hoping that video will finally rotate, but it still doesn’t. All my other apps rotate just fine, but ABC7CHICAGO. Please fix that as I won’t watch a video if it’s the size of a postage stamp.

Most of the stories are poorly written, unclear, and so abridged that they're pointless. A third-grader could produce better journalism.

Used to work better before you did the update

About two months ago they updated their app and it stop playing when I’m away from my home Wi-Fi I can’t access it anymore the only time I can access channel 7 with the new update is at home too bad are used to look at the traffic all the time on the app can’t do that anymore

I don't like the new setup at all. I would rather not have stuff popping up at me. It was hyped up so much as being easy but I find it hard to work with.

...you could you see the titles of multiple stories at a glance on one page and choose which ones you wanted to read. Now you have to swipe through videos that take up just about the whole page, because you can only see 1 title at a time. Very annoying!!!

New site is just awful. Navigation is neither easier nor intuitive. Old site was slow but it was easy to use. Some computer nerd sold you a bill of goods... and worse, you bought it.
