I have moved to Oregon BUT still have the ABC NEWS App on my phone. I watch it every day to knows going on “Back home”. I kept an eye on it during the wine country fires. 4/20/18 I really do not like this format. Please change it.

This app is so difficult to navigate. Why did you change it? I will trash it and get my news elsewhere.

If you are listening to music and decide to open a news alert, your music stops even if it is just a story with no media. Had to delete. Channel 4 app allows you to read the news while listening to music.
Can’t close picture on iphone x

Iphone x is still not fully supported, when viewing pictures, the close button is overlap with the battery on the top right corner, making it unable to close and picture, and have to force close the app.

Since the update the app is full of ads. Whenever you click on a story you get an ad, even if you just watched one the story before. The app is now harder to navigate, has less content, unending ads, and no way to contact or leave feedback. I have had and have depended on this app for years. No more, I am deleting it. There are many more ways to get the local news and forecast. If it wasn’t for Dan Ashley and Spencer Christian I would stop watching their evening and nightly news on TV as well. Shame on you ABC7, you have ruined my mornings.

I use the ABC7 app all the time. But the new version is terrible. It’s crashy. Too video heavy. You have to scroll through to see any stories. No good. Wish I could revert.

Too many ads. Ads automatically play and interrupt reading news stories, causing frustration. If I wanted commercials I would watch tv.
Zero stars if I could

Original app was so much better. Please change it back. It’s much hard to navigate and to all news at a glance. I used to recommend your app to everyone but can’t anymore. If I could give zero stars I would have. Your old app was a solid 5.
New update makes the app horrible

I used to love the app, but once they updated it, I don’t like how it isn’t a chronological timeline of events. It is news they want you to see first. I want the new stories as they come out, now when abc thinks I want to see it. I don’t know why these companies think that their algorithms are want it want. Instead of forcing me to use their algorithms, give me an option to make it chronological or their algorithms.
