Great blending and segmenting exercises; easy to navigate

This app is a wonderful resource for kindergarten and first grade for developing word sense, segmenting and blending words. It is very user friendly, even for young children.

We used starfall.com and came across this. My little boy loves this!!! Really surprised me how well he picked up on this :-). And it is nice that there is no magic but lots of colors & sparkles just for fun!! (At least so far!). Oh & the dinosaur rewards are great!!

There is no sound, so it's not helping with phonics at all. My son likes the idea of the game, but it's not helping him learn letter sounds at all
Possibly questionable graphics

I like the app, it is easy to use and I like how the onset and rime are blended; however I was a little disappointed with some of the illustration choices. I’m not comfortable using the champagne bottle (pop) and beer ( mug) in the classroom, for example. I haven’t been able to use the app for all word families as I introduce them.
