All good All the time
Using basic settings: love the animation the speaker gives for the different emotions. Will be using this with my Asperger's children. I am excited about the other features. I'll be playing around with them soon!
SpecialEdTeacher48
I am a special education teacher and I am excited and pleased with this app! I am able to customize it using the camera on my iPad and can record different voices. We've been working on identifying feelings in my class and this will be a useful tool to add to this endeavor.
Teach Speacher
Good free app. Nice ability to customize tasks for different levels of ability and teacher/caregiver involvement.
Nice job keep it up!
The flash cards have a lot of variety. Although some of the emotions may be a challenge to understand, it is still up to the user to either include it or not when working with the student. I like the vivid colors as well as different individuals expressing the same emotion.
Slp in Indy
I really find it useful when I teach social skills! Nice pictures that display the particular emotion very well.
Pleased but no sound
I downloaded this for myself as I have Asperger's syndrome and have trouble with facial expressions. It's a good app, and I like it ok. The only problem is the sound doesn't work for me. Although I can still play the games where you have to read the words, I can't play the games that require you to hear the words. I checked my volume on my iPad and the sound settings on the app. It should be working, but it's not. Please fix! There is also a problem with some of the game modes. Sometimes, they will give you a word and put two different pictures up that both show the emotion. Or when you get to pick the word from other choices, the word will be shown twice. I think it's a glitch.
TSC iPads
Simple, easy to navigate design. There is a bug that needs to be fixed. Sometime when a photo is selected for a prompt (ex. "upset"), the word revealed indicates the correct emotion, but the voiceover says, "try again."
