Limited usefulness

This review applies to the Lite (free) app. There is evidently a paid app which may be different. On the good side, the search feature works well and the categories are logical and relatively easy to follow. There is a good bit of nutrition information for each food listed. On the down side, there is no way on this app to set serving size. There is a generic setting tool but some foods count 2 ounces as a serving, while other foods count 1 cup as a serving. With this app, you get one size fits all. It is not very useful knowing what the calories are for 100 grams of a food if you plan to eat more ore less than that - or if you are comparing to more typical recommendations about "serving size". I plan to delete this app and keep looking.

Best Free Nutrition App

I am not overweight or counting calories. (Calories are in app too) I just want an app that focuses on detailed nutrition facts to insure I am eating a balanced and healthy diet. This app is perfect. It covers many more foods than other apps, doesn't bother with a bunch of brand name, boxed and precooked food (which I never eat), it has a detailed list of vitamins and minerals, etc. Plus, the portion size is very easily 'adjustable' in the 'settings' so there is not need for math calculations. Exactly what I was looking for.
