What is the point?

The game shows a picture, says the word out loud, then asks your kid to spell the word. The problem is that the word is already spelled out under the picture. The game wants your kid to drop letter tiles on top of the letters that are already there. What is the point of this? This is not spelling, it is copying. I could see this for K5 perhaps, but not 1st grade.

I got this for my 6 year old. This is very basic, and not challenging. Plus in order for my son to do the medium level or higher level, I have to write a review. The "easy" mode is the only level you are allowed, unless you write a review. I can't rate it based only on one mode, easy. If this app were to have all modes opened at download then I am confident that more people would not only like it but also give positive feedback as well. Just a suggestion here. ;)
