It's an alright game, maybe even less than alright. There are exit button to get out of notifications so you have to exit the app and restart it. After you get to embark on journeys you HAVE to pay to continue playing. Plus there's another game that's exactly like this one that's free called "A Dark Room"

This game is almost exactly like a game called, "A Dark room", which was made years before "A Firelit Room" in case you're wondering. I suggest that you get that instead, it's a much more fulfilling game.
