MineSweeper, meet the 21st century!
A Few Billion Square Tiles is a real time online multiplayer game which requires an internet connection, preferably over Wifi. The game is completely free and the only in-app purchase is there to remove ads.
I enjoy this game very much and the issues below are surely temporary. I can no longer spend yellows on sonar/wipers for some reason. This may not be in your control but I also can no longer listen to podcasts while playing the game because ads have become very loud with no mute options.
This is the extended version of Minesweeper that I've always wanted! The game is very well-made and has a clean, simple design. It's one of the only games that I find myself continuously coming back to, so much so that I recently hit 1 million tiles! The only con is a lack of active/dedicated players, but YOU can change that! I'd highly recommend this game if you want a minesweeper MMO. 04/16/18 With the recent updates, the loading screen, dialog windows, and yellow flagging speed have all improved. One request: There is an option to watch an ad for free yellows. I used to use this all time when the ads were 5 seconds long. However, now that every ad I'm getting is 30 seconds, I've stopped using the feature completely. Please use short ads, if possible.
While the world of A Few Billion Square Tiles is unthinkably infinite in all directions, the clan system allows players to form close-knit relationships no matter where they live. For example, I live in the United States and one of my clan members (shoutout to Nyxx!) is French. It might not be the most popular of games, no doubt due to the fact that for some reason not a lot of people know how to play minesweeper, but it’s an incredible reimagining of the concept. I can’t recommend this game highly enough. The amount of battery life it uses on my devices should be enough evidence of that. The developer is quick to respond to comments and concerns and the community at large is very supportive.
So much better than mine sweeper doesn't even compare! Join a clan! I'm in touch arcade but it's fun to see all try to reach us!
Have had a lot of fun with this, and thankfully haven't had to deal with any griefers myself, but they are apparently working on an update to fix that, so that should eliminate the only real complaint against this game soon!
