A Deck of Cards

Go all in! Play high or low and see how much you can win. Deck of Cards is 2 games in one. In open play mode, swipe to move cards around the virtual poker table. To turn the dealt pile over, face the device down and flip it over just like you turn over a new hand. In High or Low, keep betting to beat the house.

Free Play changes

A suggestion for a change in the Free Play portion...create an option to let the players select which suit(s) they wish to use, which cards in the suit(s), have the selected cards randomly face down on the screen all at once, the players click on a card to show its value, and leaves it as is until a reshuffle. Another good idea is to remove the Deal button, and have the players tap the deck to deal the next card. The option from above could be incorporated here by letting the player select which suit and cards to use.

This is probably the worst app I've ever downloaded. 1 minute of ads before I could even get to the cards. Do not recommend -

Not Worth It
Honesty is Best Policy

Not even for free this app is worth anything. Poorly written, crappy graphics The idea to have a simple deck of card leveraging iphone's touch and accelerometer is very good, but this application does not even come close.

Creative and Fun
Nitin Gupta

Once again an iPhone developer has created something which is innovative, simple, and fun. A Deck Of Cards leverages the iPhone’s ability to sense motion and creatively applies it to a scenario which can be useful to a variety of future applications. As a software developer, I would strongly recommend programmers thinking about creating card games to consider baking these libraries into their applications.

very nice

my kids love this, it really helps them learn there numbers shapes and colors. My little one is only 16 months and she can already put the numbers in order.

Good

A nice, clean card app. But the cards are just to big for my iPods screen, and sometimes it doesn't register my shaking. It's a good start, just needs an update.

Grain of potential

It is no more than what it says it is. If you ever wanted to draw cards to make some random choice, or maybe play Cold Hands poker with an equally bored fellow iPhone owner, I suppose it might have a use. But for the life of me I don't understand why the cards have to be the full size of the screen, making it awkward to even see all the cards you were dealt.

It aright
