How do you play?
Put on your headphones and use your smartphone’s touchscreen like a joystick:
- to move around freely;
- to fight using your sword;
- to defend yourself and protect yourself with your shield during epic fights;
- to repel your enemies and perform combos!
Live the adventures of Edward Blake, the famous blind knight! Guided by your daughter Louise, you must find your way and avoid the many traps that lie in store in the High Castle Kingdom, while confronting dangerous enemies!
This serious game is fully accessible to visually impaired people, and is aimed at anyone who’s eager for an original, immersive sensory experience through a ground-breaking video game. And because the player is the character, it will help raise public awareness of this kind of disability.
It is free to download and was co-created thanks to support from a community of fans who helped with the crowdfunding campaign (www.ulule.com/a-blind-legend) and in a co-production with France Culture, a Radio France station.
This hack-and-slash game, with a heroic-fantasy flavour, harnesses the innovative technology of binaural sound, which delivers a gripping 3D soundscape and brings characters and actions vividly to life around the player – as if they were actually in the game!

I was so excited to play this game, but couldn't select anything by tapping twice. I tried redownloading the game, restarting the game, everything I could think of. Fix the bug, and I'll be happy to play but until then I can't get passed the main menu!

This game is both the best game I have ever played on the App Store even if the story is a bit cliche and yet the oddest game I have ever played. I would love for the company who had made it to create some PC version or if there is one already to advertise it a bit. I want them to make a moddable version of this where we can set up our own dungeons to go on maybe even new variations like you could create an awesome Star Wars one where you merely heard the hum of the blade as it neared you. That being said this game itself is really really odd I've never played anything like it and yet within a few seconds of playing I realized this is going to be hard and I accepted the challenge I can't wait to see new versions of this maybe even a multiplayer although I have no clue as to how that would work I really like the blocking feature as well.

This was well done, good story, fantastic voices and I couldn’t believe it was free. I loved this game, for those having problems with double clicks turn off voiceover first. I wish I could support them with a donation but I did buy lives atleast.

Got past the menus, but am now stuck at the language loading file thing. I left it going for thirty plus minutes, and it still wasn't done? Help?

This is probably one of the best fully auditory games I've come across on IOS. Even though the story is cliché, the idea of this game is amazing. I can't see how so many had problems, though I suggest the Devs to add a tutorial function (the first time the Siri lady told me how to fight real quick it kinda flew over me: died a bunch of times before finally figuring it out). Then again, they did a great job on this game. Thank you Devs!??????

This game has a great concept and great and easy controls, the only problem is that the storyline is dull. If you fix this issue and then maybe I will redownload the game and rate 5 stars,but until then this game stays deleted

Interesting game idea, but starts so slow, and stops to load far too often. Why does an audio game require so much loading time?! It's just too boring for me to stick around and find out if the game ever gets fun.

Close your eyes, listen to the environment and atmosphere, and let the immersion begin. The developers take an innovative idea and execute it extremely well. The only thing keeping the game from 5 stars is the horrid voice acting. As a game revolving on audio, the voice acting disappointed me and kept me from taking parts of the game seriously. Instead of feeling terror when thugs attacked, it was comical because I couldn't genuinely feel the malicious intent. Overall, a great game held back from mediocre voice acting.
