Order a taxi in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro from your cellular. Our App uses your mobile phone built-in GPS to find your location and find the nearest taxi. From the home screen you can see your current location and taxis available around. All you need to do is launch 99Taxis and select the "Call Taxi" option. You can track the taxi while it makes its way towards you, and you will know which vehicle will be arriving (driver's name, car model and plate) and receive information in order to contact him directly.

The application is very simple to use. After installing and signing-up, we will verify your mobile number (for security reasons) and your Facebook account. After that, the system already knows where you are and shows you the nearest taxi. With two taps you can call a taxi.
Taxi drivers are all registered, with photo and documents (Taxi Driver Permit). You can call and speak directly with the taxi driver that accepted the run.

Crítica construtiva. Deveria, na hora de fazer o pedir, colocar o custo exato da corrida. Quando solicitei me mostrou que seria 8 reais e centavos. No final custou quase 12 reais. Isso não é legal! Mas, mesmo assim, darei mais um voto de confiança.

I had a terrible experience with this app. I used it in Rio to go to Botafogo from Leblon (that’s a 15 minutes ride without traffic) and the driver managed to get us in Rio Comprido. The driver was completely lost and didn’t know how to follow the GPS. Rio de Janeiro is a very dangerous city and this happened night time. I felt totally unsafe passing through very dangerous neighborhoods for almost an hour. When I made a complaint at the app, I got absolutely zero support or solution. They simply gave me back the money that had exceeded from the predicted fee. Needless to say I immediately deleted the app afterward. ****************************************** Eu tive uma péssima experiência com o aplicativo quando utilizei aqui no Rio, para ir do Leblon para Botafogo (uma viagem de aproximadamente 15 minutos sem trânsito) e o motorista conseguiu nos levar até Rio Comprido. O motorista estava completamente perdido e não sabia seguir o GPS. Rio de Janeiro é uma cidade muito perigosa e isso aconteceu de noite. Eu me senti completamente insegura passando por bairros perigosos por quase uma hora. Quando fiz uma reclamação no aplicativo, não recebi nenhum apoio ou solução. Simplesmente estornaram o dinheiro que excedia a taxa/preço previsto para a viagem. Não preciso nem falar que apaguei o aplicativo imediatamente depois.

Fui usuário da 99 pop há muito tempo. Sempre utilizei o app normalmente quando, de repente, não conseguia mais acessar minha conta. Sempre aparecia que meu e-mail/número de telefone já haviam sido cadastrados, o que ocasionava algum tipo de erro. Ao entrar em contato com o SAC, me pediram diversas informações, demorando semanas para explicar o que estava ocorrendo, até que finalmente me disseram que eu havia sido banido (?) do serviço, sem sequer me explicarem qual parte dos termos de uso violei. Ao perguntar a respeito, simplesmente me enviaram mais uma resposta automática! Fiquei sinceramente desapontado, sempre me dei bem com os(as) motoristas e sempre tive o app como 1ª opção em relação a outros aplicativos como Uber e Cabify.

Simplesmente impossível de conseguir usar esse app, nunca conecta. Já instalei e desinstalei várias vezes e nada. Consegui, por um milagre, fazer uma única viagem. Lamentável.

99 ia usually cheaper than other similar apps, but I’ve been having problems lately. Every time I need a car, the driver accepts the race and goes to the opposite way, which makes me cancel the trip (because I usually have an appointment and don’t want to be late) and use another app to get a car. If I keep having this kind of problems, I’ll uninstall the app.
