I’m blown away by the concept and functionality of this app. It delivers smooth performance and a robust feature set via an easy-to-understand interface, but more importantly, it puts programming directly in our hands — we, the listeners. In order to keep up with our changing tastes (and stay on the air), radio stations undergo the occasional, painstaking process of sometimes-sweeping format changes to ensure that they’re accommodating the tastes of their listeners. In their current format update, 97X has boldly embraced a new, disruptive technology that directly taps into those all-important audience preferences by giving us the keys and putting us in the driver’s seat. I've only been using the app for a week, but it already feels like this is our station now, and they’ve made it easier than ever for us to tell them what we want to hear by releasing this free app to us. Change is hard, and a format make-over usually means sacrificing some of the broadcaster's fans to gain wider or more focused appeal. Some established listeners will find it difficult to adjust, but to those of us that “get it” understand that we now have a place of our own on the dial. Get the app, get involved, and have your voice heard. Thank you, 97x!

Not listening to your station until you bring Drew and Seth back. You ruined the only good morning show in Tampa.

For one you really need to solve the issue of making it useable without encouraging cell phone use during driving. You can't have votes from song to song meaning you should each get 1 vote say every hour and the top 10 songs or whatever get played through that hour. It needs to also be tally based meaning if this song has the most votes then its the top song. I found myself battling with the other voters to be the last vote to win not necessarily the most voted song.

Until the station publishes how the app really works, this appears to be a stupid gimmick. The songs that are being out on the radio are just the same old stuff that has always been played. I refuse to believe that people are voting up "Alien Ant Farm" and others. Nobody likes that stuff anymore. Really? Pearl Jam? Tool? Give me a break.

We pick the songs, what's not to LOVE?! YOU vote songs up or down the playlist then send in ur mic request and you and ur song can b on the radio!

The app has only worked once since I got it. Every time I open it it is frozen. So not worth it!!

What happened to the morning X!? When's the beta test gonna be over! I'm really getting sick of this! It was initially a great idea but then realizing that drew and Seth are gone this is killing the station for me
Work on the "Find a Song" part.

Overall, it's ok. I really miss the morning show so I hope this will end. If this is for good though, u need to fix the "find a song" part. I wanna ad a song to the playlist but it crashes when I type one letter in.
