Music no longer plays unless app is on the main screen

It looks like now when the app is not displayed on the Home Screen the music stops playing. Previously the music would continue to play if you had another app open are you close the screen to save battery power. It looks like there was an update and now the music stops whenever I switch to a different app or close my screen to save battery power. Great music but unless they can change it back to the previous version it looks like I’ll find another music app.

This station is absolutely amazing. It has some of the most amazing songs from the 80s that you don’t hear anywhere else. I listen to it all the time.
