Not a drum machine by any stretch. Might be interesting if you could actually program patterns, but since you can't it's useless.
And the point is?

Firstly, I can make better drum sounds with my mouth. An app should be able to do something a person can't do without the app. No programming, no midi, no nuthin'. Don't waste your time.

When 808 is it he title of the app expectations are this is a competent app. This is useless and should not even be created. This should be a free useless app. Pease do not make the mistake I did of buying this.

Can't record. Can't start a loop. Just press buttons. Don't waste your time. Minimum requirement is iOS 3.
