This is an addicting game that is challenging at first and fun. Btw, all the cars you pass in 3rd place or so are suppose to be like lapping cars even though your really not
One of the best racing games on iOS!

The game is awesome, but with twenty opponents, it is difficult to reach first place. I hope in the next update there will be less opponents.

First of all, to all of the people claiming their is a bug wherein you pass a car, but your position doesn't change ... it's not a bug, it's called 'lapping' -- look it up. I really like this game and I like it even more that I got it for free. The one issue I have with it is that your opponents constantly try to block you when you try to pass them. This is EXTREMELY frustrating!!! It's even more frustrating when you've just used some NOS and your stupid opponent moves in front of you and you end pushing him forward and losing your boost!!!

The perfect homage to Gremlin's Lotus and Top Gear series; 8 bit Rally is a worthy spiritual sequel, styled for peak nostalgia and playing great to boot. Impressive length and difficulty, simple but satisfying upgrade system; it all works just as a gamer from the '90s remembers it. It's worth noting the game is better than its score may indicate: many iTunes reviewers fail to grasp the concept of a racing game or what it means to lap an opponent. Lapping is not a glitch, racetracks loop around and it's possible to drive fast enough to see cars still working on the previous lap. That's just how things that are round work.

Love this game. Reminds me of my younger dayz trying to beat Lotus on the spectrum. Great work.
