ALWAYS buggy

This app is perpetually buggy. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. And when that gets fixed, something else goes wrong. For the longest time, pictures I uploaded via the app never actually posted to my account. This time, it’s not displaying pictures you click on. Instead of displaying it, I just get a black screen. I can swipe up and see the picture info but the picture is absent, effectively making this app worthless.

While i love 500px ios s/w has always been very buggy. Notifications don't work always.. In the notification screen the image preview of liked inage doesnt load properly. Clicking on a image from notifications does go to the picture but does not load it correctly..
Beautiful website, horrible app.

500px offers beautifully curated photos, but the 500px mobile app is terrible. Photos, their information, and comments take too long to load. These issues have been present for me for years. I have experienced these troubles on different phone models, networks, and on WiFi. This is a critical review, and I am hoping someone at 500px takes notes.

This seems like a good photo sharing app, the challenges are nice, and I like being able to see fresh, upcoming, and popular photos based on likes they get. But the app is saturated with pornographic images. To the app developers, seriously, put an end to this. I won’t be using this app again.
Crashes way too often for a perfect rating

Strictly speaking as a site lurker and photography enthusiast, the 500px app is a decent way to discover photography with a small social component and a good way to categorize and keep track of favorites. Every day, however, the app crashes. Usually more than once per day. It’s as if it’s intended mostly for uploading and browsing is an afterthought
Needs Improvement

I just downloaded the app and joined. Compared to Flickr, Instagram or Facebook this app seems amateur league. The user interface seems buggy and unpolished. Based on first impressions a 2 star rating is a generous gift. For as long as it’s been around I expected more.
Cannot login through gmail?

I started uploading photos on desktop website but today I downloaded this app and cannot sign in by by google account? That’s wired. There are only account, apple account, Facebook. No google account option.
