3DMark is the world's most popular benchmark, and has been the first choice for gamers since 1998. Now used by millions of people, hundreds of hardware review sites and many of the world's leading technology companies, it's the industry standard benchmark for graphics performance measurement.

Use 3DMark Ice Storm for device-to-device comparisons of mainstream mobile devices. Ice Storm is an OpenGL ES 2.0 benchmark test that is rendered at HD 720 then scaled to the native display resolution of your device. Ice Storm includes two graphics tests designed to stress the GPU performance of your device and a physics test to stress its CPU performance.

Use 3DMark Ice Storm Extreme for device-to-device comparisons of high performance mobile devices. Ice Storm Extreme raises the rendering resolution to HD 1080 and uses higher quality textures and post-processing effects in the graphics tests to create a more demanding test.

Use 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited for chip-to-chip comparisons of the hardware inside your device without vertical sync, display resolution scaling and other operating system factors affecting the result. In Unlimited mode the rendering engine uses a fixed time step between frames and renders exactly the same frames in every run on every device. The frames are rendered in HD 720 resolution "offscreen" while the display is updated with small frame thumbnails every 100 frames to show progress.

Great App
CoolCJP1

This is a great free app to see how your device is performing every once in a while

Please optimize your apps for newer devices

I get random crashes on the iPhone XR, benchmarking is a bit finicky on whether it will work or not

Worst app ever

Good for new, bad for old (6 years old)

I'm happy to say that I am using the iPad 2017! So I was excited to see what it was capable of. It scored as expected! (For this next part I'm exaggerating) How ever, i decided to try it on my old iPad 2...it didn't even load. ??‍♂️ but than finely I got it to work! (EXAGGERATED) then suddenly I started to smell something! I looked over and my iPad had burst into flames!!! (It did get pretty hot)

Great benchmarking tool, needs 64-bit architecture support though
Max Nak4

This is a great benchmark tool for anything that's not an iPhone 5s (the app doesn't support 64-bit CPU architecture so it doesn't get accurate scores on the 5s)
