Fun Book

My kid likes the book, and it's definitely a fun read. I'm hoping the developers update the boom though so the icon isn't the default cocos2D icon on the 3rd generation iPad due to the retina display. Also the display name on the iPad is "3D Storybook" why not something more descriptive?

what a clever book!!

its going to take my daughter a long time to figure out which way to turn the screen. the story is very clever and excellent for teaching perspective and basic logic. Mott is a fun loveable character that your child will relate to and enjoy experiecing his wrong side of the bed with.... can't wait for our 3 D glasses to get here to truly enjoy the 3D experience.

Technology meets Literacy!

My first graders love imagining What If? scenarios. So they were very excited to read/listen to this story of what would happen if they woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Not only did they enjoy the story but many were even inspired to write what happened if they woke up on the wrong side of bed. As a class, we loved the plot and the illustrations. One student felt it was a "cartoon and book all rolled up into one"! But we couldn't agree if we preferred it in 2-D or in 3-D using the 3-D glasses. (I preferred it ,along with the majority of the class, in 3-D using the 3-D glasses). Overall, we recommend this app!

A tranquil and alluring book for kids.

The art is quite unique engaging the kids to look around and explore. The story itself is intriguing and brings up a conversation about the directions of up side and down as well as left and right. Also the 3D feature is a nice bonus (when using 3D cyan-red glasses). The interactions are a bit limited and simple. More points to click on with reactions would have been very welcome. Overall a nice read.

delightful

My kids all enjoyed this in 2-d, grat to talk with them after. This book worked for all 3 of my kids and they were interested in to see what was going to happen next. The 3-d glasses made it more fun. My daughter was giggling alot. My youngest 7 and the older two with special needs are 9 and 17. This app can be used as a way to teach basic directionaal words like up and down left and right. We did also discuss whats wrong in the picture. All around great app, multi purpose in my home!

Awesome book, five stars!!

Got such good reviews, thought my 3-yr-old might enjoy it! VERY disappointed!! SO little to do, not very interactive, unless you count the dumb, repetitive sounds the boy makes on each page! Want my three bucks back! Try ANY of Sandra Boynton's books, & the "Nighty-Night" book is GREAT! (all VERY interactive!)

Do not bother

I really do not like this book. I managed to get through the first six or seven pages but it is insipid. It is not charming or fun or quirky. I hope I did not pay much for it. My grandson, age 8, loves books and he managed two pages. Books that we like, and this includes four younger grandchildren, are Another Monster At End Of This Book, Nighty Night, the Larry Lizard books, and the Sandra Boynton ones. I will delete it.
