The WIFR iPhone App takes the best features from the WIFR newscast and Web site and rolls them into a mobile experience that is a must on your iPhone. It makes viewing and sharing the news easy.
With a few simple steps, you can read and watch the latest news or share it with family and friends by e-mail, text message and even post to Twitter and Facebook. Whether it’s severe weather, the newest sports scores or learning you’re a lottery winner by viewing the latest numbers, the WIFR iPhone App keeps you in-the-know while you’re on-the-go.
Requires iOS 9 or higher.
I’ve tried many times to open this app even re down loaded it it won’t open or crashes. I’m using iPhone 6.
Thank you, thank you, thank you !!! You may have saved lives tonight. In any case, you kept us all safer and less anxious. Knowing you can rely on the local weather assessments is invaluable -- and such a relief. The WIFR livestream was portable, via iPhone and iPad, easily visible with the weather graphics and kept us all up to date on the weather situation, including block by block localization. Nobody else even comes close. Thank you.
There is not enough content available to users like there is on the website. When I go to the local sports section it only show scores for the day's games. I would like it to have to videos and articles for the areas teams.
Flaky, intermittent, "News" hadn't worked for more than a day. Live streaming good if and when it works. Pick another station another app.
Looked for local news and all I got was an ad to subscribe to the New York Times. Useless app now. Worked once upon a time.
I was using this app daily and it worked well. For days all I've been able to get are ads. Time to ditch it.
Want local news not New York news. Would order Chicago times before New York Times. Got app to get Rockford news. Fix it or get deleted
Love this app. Not crazy about the weather part of it. But thank you for the fix. The "news" section now works again.
