2048 gameplay is simple and reminiscent of Threes!, a similar sliding numbers game. You have a 4x4 grid of number tiles based on the number 2 that you combine. You can only combine tiles with the same number, a 2 tile with a 2 tile, a 4 tile with a 4 tile and so on. As you combine tiles, they are combined into one tile, their values are added together and another tile appears on the screen. You keep adding tiles until reach 2048 or your screen fills up and you can't move anymore.
Inspired by Gabriele Cirulli game available on the web:

- 12 free game modes/variants.
- A simple design with a colorful, Material Design inspired user interface.
- Insanely smooth and realistic animations.
This game is awesome and I love it but it needs more modes because modes are awesome
This game is really fun. I wanted to get the regular 2048, but then I saw this and I loved that it had the different modes. So far, I haven't had any crashes or glitches! Good ? work!
It doesn't seem the new app added anything key but now appears slower and lethargic. There's latency when I swipe to move numbers that wasn't there before and it causes me to repeat swipes ?
This version of 2048 is very unresponsive compared to the versions that are available for the android platform
Downloaded this game because it's the first apple app with an undo button. Unfortunately the undo button is a farse, as you have to pay to get access to it. Stick with the original version as who wants to pay for undo? Not me.
This app failed to make a dog look cute. If you mess up with dogs, you really messed up.
It's good but I would change like to make more options and like make it smaller or wider choices
