I have been searching for an app for a long time that could take pics looking like the 80s or 90s and also edit using filters that are FREE to use ? 1998 Cam is the best app I came across a few days ago and it is my go to app from now on to edit and take photos with ? I highly recommend it for anyone who likes old time film ? looking media ?

My friend and I took AMAZING pictures on this. Today we took 70 pictures just on this app preparing to use them for things and when I entered the app an hour later everything was GONE. Please restore my pictures to me because I did NOT delete them. I don’t know what is going on with this app but I am very unhappy. I do not recommend it anymore for this reason. Ridiculous.

This is honestly the best vintage style picture taking/ editing apps I've used (and I've used plenty). Most of the popular ones that everyone uses, you would have to pay extra to import pictures form your camera roll, but not this one! And not only that, they have so many options from filters, to dust, to light streaks - AND they don't bombard you with adds. I truly love this app and think it deserves more recognition :)

It has plenty of filters to choose from, which you can apply to the picture before or after taking it. It adds other things like “dust” “light leak” “vignette” which you can still edit and make your own.?
